Puppies
are the proof of any breeding program. Like all babies, puppies
need a lot of stroking, conversation, and direction from both
their mama and us. Therefore, we don't have many in any year.
We believe in the "Seven by seven" rule; we temperament test our
puppies between seven and nine weeks; and we ask you to complete
a puppy questionnaire to help us select the appropriate puppy
for your family.
Like
our stud dogs, our mothers complete full genetic testing before
they are bred, and are seen by our veterinarian at least twice
during pregnancy.
Early
socialization is highly important in producing a happy, stable
adult-both in people and dogs. You won't get your puppy until
he is "ready" to leave his mama and his brothers and sisters.
He will have learned to share, not to bite hard, to be subservient
to authority and his elders, to trust all humans. We want him
to be "the best dog you've ever had."
Enjoy
